Help with my Transplant!

As most of you know but for those who don't, my name is Amber. I am a 35 year old End Stage Renel Patient(kidney disease, Type 1 Diabetic). I have an awesome 8 year old who is full of energy and life. I'm married to one amazing guy who sticks it out with me through everything.  I was diagnosed Stage 5 two years ago and have been on dialysis for a year and a half. I do dialysis 3 times a week for 4 hours at a time. I'm not going to lie, it sucks. I am however very thankful for my treatments because it is the only way I'm still alive and have the chance to kiss my baby boy and my gorgeous husband every morning and every night. With this Transplant I hope to get a little of myself back, I have way to much to live for to throw the towel in now.  I have an amazing opportunity for a second chance at life. My beautiful mom, my best friend will be donating a kidney to me!!!!! While my husband and I and my son have an awesome support system on our side, we tend to fall short in the financial aspect of the situation. We are a one income family due to my health. We are asking for donations to help with travel expenses, living expenses and medical expenses. My husband will be my caregiver which means 3 weeks off of work. I will have to stay in New Orleans for 3 weeks after the surgery and will be traveling back and forth many times for the first year for testing. Any donations would be greatly and sincerely appreciated!
