Help with Ian's new insulin pump
Donation protected
Ian's insulin pump is out of warranty. This means that though it still works, should it fail, he will be out of luck. He would rather replace it before it becomes an emergency situation. The cost is $2100 out of pocket, with insurance coverage paying 50%. $2100 is a lot of money for anyone, and living on that razor thin wire is very stressful for him, because, should this pump fail, the $2100 is not going to be a consumer choice or decision, it's going to be a medical decision. Having a pump has massively improved his quality of life and control over diabetes, which has lead to a very full and happy life.
I, and many of you, love this guy to pieces and are brought untold amounts of joy and light by seeing him every day. So let's pool whatever we can spare to help give back to him.
We all are struggling, so if you can't donate a share goes nearly as far in efforts to help. So share as much as possible and donate whatever you can spare!
