Ayuda al Liderazgo Juvenil Venezolano
Hoy más que nunca Venezuela se ve en la necesidad de formar a generaciones de jóvenes que sean capaces de comprometerse con los nuevos retos que implica participar en el desarrollo del país.
Nosotros como Venezuelan MUN Society nos enorgullecemos de ser una escuela de vida cuya visión es asegurarnos de que todos nuestros integrantes puedan alcanzar el éxito en cualquier ámbito de sus vidas. Para ello, los dotamos de las herramientas necesarias como el pensamiento crítico, la negociación, la oratoria, la inteligencia emocional, entre otros. Todas estas habilidades son necesarias a nivel profesional y la forma que usamos para enseñarlas y ponerlas en práctica es a través de los Modelos de Naciones Unidas.
Esta iniciativa se hace en nombre de uno de nuestros miembros fundadores, Carlos Enrique Chacon, con el fin de obtener los fondos necesarios para cumplir con nuestros objetivos como delegación y como agentes de cambio de nuestra sociedad y para continuar con este proyecto. Como producto de las dificultades actuales que se tienen para recaudar el dinero necesario creamos esta campaña, la cual es administrada por mi persona, Isabella White, miembro de VMUNS 2019.
El dinero que hemos recibido ha sido utilizado para la reserva de nuestros pasajes de avión y para ayudar con los gastos de nuestro hospedaje a través de la reserva de un Airbnb.
Nuestra meta es participar en el Modelo de las Naciones Unidas de Harvard para Latinoamérica (HNMUN-LA). Esta es nuestra oportunidad para representar a Venezuela y materializar en un reconocimiento para el país las habilidades aprendidas durante nueve meses de preparación.
Somos un equipo compuesto por 19 estudiantes de distintas universidades venezolanas (UCAB, UCV, UNIMET, UMA, USM). En 2015, 2016, 2017 y 2018 participamos en las ediciones de HNMUNLA, obteniendo de forma ininterrumpida el reconocimiento de "Best Small Delegation". Ahora, nuestro reto es ganar por quinta vez consecutiva en la edición 2019 a celebrarse en Lima, Perú en el mes de enero.
Sin embargo, para alcanzar estas metas necesitamos de ayuda, ¡y ahí es donde entra esta recaudación de fondos! Todas las donaciones que entren a través de este GoFundMe nos ayudarán a lograr nuestro objetivo de representar a Venezuela en una arena internacional de tal prestigio como lo es HNMUN-LA.

We see ourselves, now more than ever, in the need to have generations of young adults that will one day be able to affect change at a higher level, that will be able to commit themselves to the improvement of our country.
We, as Venezuelan MUN Society, pride ourselves in being a school for life, in being the kind of place that will make sure that all of our members can achieve everything beyond greatness, that looks beyond limits that we put there ourselves; we make sure that we give the necessary skills in order for everyone to succeed in whatever activity they choose to follow, our delegates successfully master being able to speak in public, to negotiate, to learn how to think critically, all of which are tested in the best environment for them all, Model of United Nations.
This campaign is done on behalf of one of our founding members, Carlos Enrique Chacon, with the objective of obtaining the necessary funds in order to accomplish our goals as a delegation and its continuation, and as active members of our society. As a byproduct of the current difficulties we are going through in obtaining the money for our delegation, we created this campaign, which is managed by me, Isabella White, member of VMUNS 2019.
The money that we have received has been withdrawn on a monthly basis and has been used for our plane tickets and to help cover the costs of our lodgings that are made through Airbnb.
Our goal is to take part in the Harvard National Model of United Nations for Latin-America (HNMUNLA), this conference gives us the perfect stage in which to present what we have learnt and to show what we are really capable of. We will represent Venezuela in a conference where we will work alongside like-minded people towards one common goal: making sure that the world we leave behind is the best version it can be.
We are a team made up of 19 highly motivated students from several Venezuelan universities (UCAB, UCV, UNIMET, UMA, USM). We have won "Best Small Delegation" in HNMUNLA four years in a row. Now, our challenge is to win once again in Lima in 2019.
However, in order to make this goal come true, we need some help, and that’s where this fundraiser comes in! All of the donations that come through this GoFundMe will help us get closer to achieving our goal of representing Venezuela in the prestigious conference that is HNMUN-LA.
