VICKY’s SECOND DOUBLE LUNG TRANSPLANT

Donation protected
UPDATE.....Hey everyone as most of you know With the financial help that Vicky and her family received she was able to relocate with her family and did receive the gift of life. On August 6th Vicky had a double lung transplant which came at a perfect time because she was days from dying. The pineau family is very thankful for all of the donations and support that they’ve been given. But sadly Vicky is in Rejection and is once again in need of another double lung transplant in order to save her life. This is her last chance. She’s gone through many treatments including a bought of chemo and they’ve all failed. So with this being said we are looking to help raise funds again to help them out. They have to re start this journey all over again. And because of the financial stress they are afraid of losing everything. No one knows how long it will take for the call to come in plus they need to stay an extra three months for recovery. Please help this family out. Every little bit helps. Thank you so much. She also wants to thank her Donor and their family for saving her life.  PLEASE BECOME A DONOR!

Vicky Presseault Pineau is a 36 year old mom of 3 boys Bailey 17, Liam 9 and Jack 5.  She is also a wife, sister, friend, cousin, and neighbor who is currently battling IPF (Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis) since 2013.  Vicky was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis which is an auto-immune disease that went undiagnosed for too long.  Some of the symptoms has had to live with due to IPF includes: severe shortness of breath, which is now being treated with home oxygen, severe fatigue, weakness, and alot of chest discomfort.  For the past 2 years Vicky has had multiple doctor appointments, unanswered questions, long trips to Toronto, and time away from her children.  Vicky has been on several different types of medication geared towards the RA in hopes that it would slow the progression of the IPF.  Unfortunately, during her last specialist in Toronto she received devastating news that although the medication helped the RA it has not helped at all in slowing down the progression of IPF.  There is an urgency to do all the tests for the transplant within the next 6 weeks.  IPF IS TERMINAL  and her doctors have given her 1 year.

This is where Vicky and her family could really use your support.
One of the qualifications in determining eligibility of a lung transplant is that the entire family has to relocate to Toronto, for 1 to 2 years.  This is where the GO FUND ME comes into play.  All money raised will go towards relocating, living accommodations, and medical expenses.  Vicky's husband Kenny had to quit his job to become primary care giver to Vicky and their 3 boys.
My heart breaks for Vicky and her family during this time.  Vicky is the strongest woman I know has life has truly been unfair to her.  Vicky and Kenny has both grew up without parents and the last thing in the world that they want for their children is to have to grow up without a mother, knowing how hard it is.  God has a weird way of working and I cannot beg him enough to keep Vicky around.  She is the best person that gives the best advice, best listener, she has the most caring heart, and is an amazing mother.  It kills us knowing that there is nothing that we can do to help her and take away the pain that she lives with everyday.  It kills us to think of her children having to live without her.  The only thing we can do is try to get financial support so that the only thing they have to worry about this year and the rest of the time she has is to get healthy and doing everything they can to get her back to stable health.
