Help us to have food please

Hi. My name is Jamie and I live in a small flat with my girlfriend Vicky and a cat named Kyon. We were recently thrown into Universal Credit during a sudden health scare when I developed a cough that lasted 3 weeks.
After receiving our first payment just this Monday we spent most of it playing catch up with our bills. We were left with just enough to buy rice, bread, potatoes, eggs and tinned mushrooms and a big box of cat food, this is supposed to last us a month but will be lucky to last us 2 weeks.
On top of it all our gas bill arrived with a price of £70 due to British Gas and their unrelenting price hikes even while the meter is broken and, their website tells me, cant be read by them to accurately calculate our bill. Suffice to say we cant afford this, and they want the money by the 29th.
This is where I ask for your help, Help us to survive the hectic nature of this first payment, to pay this sudden and unexpected bill and to stock up on food to last the month.

I thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart for anything you can spare us in this time of need.
I'll need to have at least £70 before the 29th.
