Help My Hero & His Dream

$1,025 of $45,000 goal

Raised by 13 people in 13 months
This fund has been created to raise money to save my father's dream and to allow him to continue to be dedicated to helping youth within the Greater Houston Area.
Ever since 2008, upon returning from working in Iraq in support of our soldiers and their mission, my father has provided mentoring and guidance for many aspiring collegiate baseball players. His selflessness has been an inspiration to many. Growing up with him as my role model and my hero, has always seemed to me to be somewhat of a blessing. In 2009, my father started the Westchase Express Baseball Club, where he provided a place for players to train and work on their skills over the summer months. He also has spent 1,000's of hours volunteering to, listen, research and help players of all ages locate opportunities or to improve skills necessary to succeed. My father will be the first tell everybody that he has never made players great, but I have witnessed his love and caring dedication to many and firsthand seen how his optimism and belief in hardwork has inspired others.
Many of those my father has helped are about my sisters and my age. and many still call and ask for advice and encouragement.
For as long as I can remember, my father has loved the game of baseball, and although I never really saw the allure, I did join him on many trips so that I could support him on his mission.
In December of 2016, my father opened a lifelong dream in the "Express House of Victoy". The place is an all-in-one location dedicate to helping youth and young adults in the NW Houston area create an advantage in the classroom and on the playing fields.
The facility is open to the public and any organization that is needing a safe and warm location to call home.
Programs such as Houston Ballers, Houston Collegiate Summer League, Allen Baseball and our own Express programs call the faclity their home locations.

Now the "Express House of Victory" is needing assistance to keep our mission moving forward. We are facing the after affects of Hurricane Harvey along with slower than estimated growth and ineffective marketing to the area.

I am asking you to help us keep the doors open so that my father can help bring normalcy back to our communities and allow us to keep a location where the kids can go to laugh and play again.

The next 6-months to 3-years are going to be difficult to say the least on our communities, and our kids are going to see the dispair and the emotional saga their parents are going to go through.

Thats why, our goal is to reach our operating costs for the next 6 to 8 months, so that we may keep our doors open and services available to the communities around us. If we can get you and enough of your friends to help, we will look to provide many of the services free to those that were greatly affected by Harvey.

Westchase Express Inc. is a service-based organization that is dedicated to helping prepare youth to young adults for a life of success, prosperity, and potential.  Since our founding, many have come to recognize Westchase by our baseball development programs, and therefore think of us as only a baseball club.  However, Westchase is much more than that.  Westchase incorporates the life lessons learned through our "National Pastime" as a tool to help provide inspiration, direction, opportunities, and avenues for youth when seeking higher levels of education and/or in preparation for their future.

In 2017, Westchase Express Inc. opened its first academic and athletic training facility called the “WCE House of Victory”. Since its opening we have been the training location for several MLB professionals, current MiLB professionals, recent MLB draftees, aspiring collegiate players, developing high school players and many area baseball and softball inspired youth as young as 4 years old.  During the summer months, our “House” is the home training facility for many of the collegiate players that participate in the Houston Collegiate Summer League (HCSL).

The “House of Victory” was established with 3 goals in mind: 1) strive to be affordable for ALL players, 2) provide a safe place for youth of all ages and skillsets to be inspired, and 3) mentor and teach our youth the importance of a balanced life.

What most people who have been around youth baseball can attest is that:

The game has become a major business in our country often costing $100’s if not $1,000’s per month to participate.
There are so many programs, coaches and teams that its difficult to know before investing a fortune whether it’s the right place or people for your aspiring youth.
The purpose of us reaching out is to help keep our doors open as we get the word out and build our family.  100% of the contributed funds will go to ensure that we can continue to be a place of choice.

Please consider helping out to help keep this dream and the family behind this dream.
And to help those who love the game give the youth of this generation a chance for great things.

So Hi everyone and anyone who pays attention with this gofundme campaign. Currently we have yet to make anything to our goal, but I'll have hope to progress with our business! Please share this as much as possible.

We need as much help as possible.

On side news the daily stream for the gofundme seems to not cause any progression so if we don't receive anymore donation by the 19th the streams will be discontinued but the campaign will remain open.

Well that's it for the update outside of the increase of business. (Hopefully we can get enough to keep the doors open since we are currently 5 months late of rent. Good thing the owns of the facility is being patient with us hoping we can pay some of the rent.)

Wish us luck and hope for the best for us.
Have a great day everyone
