Hi everyone,
My name is Nicole Clements but this GoFundMe isn't just for me. It's also for Lindsie Raye, Brittney Lindstrom, Erica Williamson, Gabby McDonald, Maria Taylor, and 5 other women who have worked their tails off to make their blogging successful.
We are here asking for your help with the legal fees of our Class action suit. In return for your help, and if we win our case, we will donate all of the money we raise to these three amazing charities;
Children's Miracle Hospital
NEDA - National Eating Disorders Association
Suicide Prevention
Now, on to why we need this money for a lawsuit in the first place. Most of you who are reading this know us and which company this is pertaining to, but this isn't about revenge or to smudge their name in the dirt, this is about getting our intellectual property back, as well as the thousands of dollars we are owed as their writers.
It's been a long journey to this decision and sadly, the CEO of our company forced us to do this after his response to me. You can see this in the below screenshot. As writers, artists, and creative minds our work means everything to us. I can't tell you how many times we have sat on our computers not wanting to publish something because it meant so much. The work we make and where we decide to publish it, is more important than people know.

And when a company who you thought appreciated you, says they won’t pay you, and that they are going to keep using your hard work to pay their bills but not yours, it's heartbreaking. And it has broken many of us.
Especially, because they have slowly kicked us writers to the curb. We used to have full access to the site to delete and add articles as we pleased. They used to pay us on time and help us grow our audience, and now it’s like we never existed. We are locked out of the site, can't see or access our work, can not delete it, are unable to see what they owe us money wise, and the terms and conditions have been changed without our knowledge and agreement....
But... This company isn't going to stop us, beat us down, or steal our work and money without a fight. So that's why we are here, and asking for your help. Whether you are family, friends, fellow writers, fans, or anyone else who is reading this... You know what it is like to have passion for something. You know what our work means to us writers and how it is so important to stand up for ourselves and our work, because no one deserves to take credit for that except us.
This is also a learning moment for all of us. And has helped us ladies understand the importance of contracts and why broken promises won't fix the problem.
We hope that you're willing to help us on this journey so no other women have to go through this problem again, especially with this company.
