Help us pay Tank’s medical bills

Hello friends, family, and others. As of this morning our sweet cat, Tank, is is the vetrinary hospital in critical condition. He has been sick with what was originally diagnosed as an upper respiratory infection over a month and a half ago, but last night he started bleeding profusely from his nose, which suggests that something else is wrong. The doctors have gotten him stable but they don’t currently know what is wrong. They are running diagnostics and tests to try to determine the cause of the bleeding. At best, it is a clotting issue or fungal infection. At worst, it could be a tumour. He is our baby and we will do whatever we can to keep him with us.

Unfortunately, the test and hospitalization are extremely costly and I (Devon) am a student living on student loans and Mark is entry-level teacher with a limited income. We have been told that his tests will cost somewhere between $1,500 and $4,500. This cost doesn’t include treatment once they determine the underlying cause of his illness which could be up to $6,000. We are asking for any financial support you can offer, however small. Anything helps. We will post updates as we receive them.
