"Help us keep working"

Donation protected
Many of you know Jim Wallace from all his community work - he's a volunteer firefighter, benefit organizer for projects like the Hungry Bowls fundraiser that aided area food banks and pantries, and generally the sort of guy who is always ready to step up and help anyone, anywhere, any time.
2019 has brought some precarious financial moments. As a couple, we both work, but our incomes as self-employed contractors have been impacted by the economy. Shannon's predictable income from writing has been hit hard, and Jim has been filling in the gaps from his pottery business with other jobs. While we hustle and look for work, we've been hit with a series of small disasters that have wiped out our savings.
The latest involved an act of vandalism to one of our cars that caused a wheel to come off, and a wreck. While no-one, thankfully, was hurt, we're now faced with repair bills and other expenses that are piling up.
It's hard to say it, but we need help, and we're willing to return your kindnesses with our own talents. As an artist and a writer, we also welcome commissions and projects.
But, our most critical need right now is to keep us working, and we need Jim's work truck back on the road.
Thanks for your help.
