Help us help our Brother Luke

Luke was on holiday in Bali and only two days before flying home he was involved in a motor bike accident resulting in severe head injuries. He needs to undergo surgery with a Neurosurgeon and Maxillofacial surgeon. Unfortunately he has no insurance and therefore we are appealing for any help towards his medical fees which are understandably very high. The hospital he is in in Bali are doing an amazing job but the fee for being in ICU is £1500.00 per day alone. His operation with the neurosurgeon alone is £14,800.00 & it is not clear to us as a family yet how long Luke will need to recover.

So now you know the story, let me tell you a bit about Luke.

Luke is 23 years old & two years ago moved to Perth with his work where he is a refrigeration engineer. He is the most hard working, kind & generous young man I have ever met. He has a wicked sense of humour, & he's always smiling. He is that one person in a crowded bar that will make everyone laugh.
As a family, we were absolutely shell shocked & devastated to learn of his accident two days ago. His mum & brothers have dropped everything & have got on planes & crossed the world to get to him in hospital where he will remain for a long time, but we don't know how long.

Without wanting to turn on the emotional blackmail switch, please, imagine this was your son or baby brother. In a hospital, unconscious with a serious head injury, in a foreign country thousands of miles from home & family, & then imagine the lengths you would go to to help get him well & home.

Luke has a fractured skull, eye socket & bleed on the brain. We don't know what the future holds but we know we are going to fight every bit of the way to get him back to his old self.
