On April 22nd my daddy, Troy Lange was diagnosed with Stage 3 High-Grade Neoroendocrine Carcinoma Large Cell Lung Cancer. Troy is only 51 years old. His cancer is very rare, so unfortunately doctors know very little about it. This cancer is also very aggressive. Troy started Chemotherapy on May 9th to start the fight to beat this cancer!!
Troy is a very loving family man and friend, and is very well known throughout our community! He is always eager to help everyone he can wether he knows them or not.
Troy has worked construction for 28 years and is now part of the Wisconsin Union. Not the lightest job but he is amazing at it and man does he love it!
Unfortunately with this diagnosis he is unable to work, yes it is driving him NUTS! My mom, Brenda, is still working as a personal shopper. Thankfully her job has been VERY understanding on letting her be with him for all his appointments.
My parents are not the kind of people to ask for help, they are very stubborn as many of you already know. However I will ask! I will be holding a benefit for my parents to help with Medical expenses and living expenses during this difficult time. Money is a huge stress on everyone and to help cancel out that stress will be a HUGE help on my parents.
