Help to save Steven Lietaer's kennel
Donation protected
Malamute musher Steven Lietaer has been in a car accident. He is in the ICU and needs help to breath. He is intubated and drugged to remain unconscious. His lungs are damaged; infection is a serious threat. He has a concussion, but his brain appears to be functioning. He has many fractures including in his legs. It's all going forward in tiny steps. Recovery will be a long time coming.
Meanwhile life goes on at home and his many working dogs need to be fed and cared for. Esther, Steven's wife, will need help to manage this work as it was never a one-man/woman job, and she herself needs to be available at hospital for Steven. Please contribute to support Esther and Steven so they can maintain their kennel through this very difficult time, until Steven recovers enough that they can evaluate the future and make good decisions for all.
