Help this young Mama!

Laticia and Baby Eli need time to focus on health and recovery as Eli has RSV.  Let’s help make sure this working Mama does not have to worry about money at this HARD TIME.

This is my reality currently. In the hospital, standing watch over my baby. I never wanted to be here. I never wanted to experience something so similar to Cs nicu stay ever again. This has brought up a ton. And while I’m so thankful for all of the knowledge that NICU stay gave me as a first time mom. This is hard. Seeing your infant hooked up. With feeding tubes, IVs, stat leads, oxygen tubes, tape. It just is the worst. Not being able to nurse him for comfort. Or hold him exactly like he likes because of all of the wires. Luckily I’m pro, and can maneuver a little better with all the hookups. But it still, sucks. It’s so scary. As each new procedure is done. As you watch the monitors beep letting you know that he’s not doing well. I wish no parents ever had to go through anything similar. But Truly thankful for science and modern medicine. If this were even a 100 years ago, his chances might not be as good. So for now, I watch, and I wait. And I pray that we get to go home soon.
