Help the Vizzo's get on their feet

This morning I did the math. In exactly 1 year we have racked up $40,106.17 in medical bills. We have great insurance that has really helped and  We have been keeping up on the  bills, but there are more coming. For those of you who don't know I was diagnosed with cervical cancer last year. We caught it early and I am expected to be considered cancer free in the near future. It hasn't been cheap, though. We could not afford to live in Missoula anymore and had to move to a place much less expensive but without our network of friends and family.  we thought we could do it, we could live here a couple years and pay everything off and get out from under the debt. Then, on March 1st, Adam slipped on some ice and fell, hard. He seriously injured his knee and needed surgery. He has just had the surgery this last Tuesday and it was a success. Adam should be able to walk again sometime in June. Then he starts physical therapy. Until then he is unable to work. Adam is our primary bread winner. His income is over twice what mine is. My employment provides our amazing insurance but not the money a bartender makes. I haven't let him know how broke we are because I know how awful he already feels but we have $47.12 in the bank. I don't know what else to do but ask for help. And I don't even really know how to do that. But if every one of his friends chipped in and gave us the same amount you'd spend buying him a drink we'd at least get rent paid.
Here's our financial truth: i bring in $1250/mo after taxes, insurance, etc. we have $1400/mo in fixed expenses (rent, bills, loans) we have yet to receive the bill for this latest injury. I have started to apply for second jobs this week. If we can just get our heads above water and make it until he goes back to work I will shut down the funds campaign. I just know I can't do this on my own. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. If you know us, you know how much this hurts my pride to have to ask. I can't bring myself to tell Adam I am doing this because I know how embarrassed he will be, but I'm out of other ideas.
