The Soilders and Sailors Memorial Coliseum was built in 1916 to Honor the Soldiers and Sailors of the area by Mayor Benjamin Bosse. This building is a huge part of our History and has been ran and operated by the Veterans Council of Vanderburgh Co. Inc since April 8, 1971. The Veterans Coliseum is operating as a Rental Facility and is home to Bingo and CCW wrestling. We also have Metro Ballroom Dancing, Wedding Receptions, Concerts, and Meetings. This timeless treasure is a Non-Profit organization and is in need of financial help to do some maintenanace and renovations. The funds being raised will go to refinishing the Main floor(wood), Fresh Coat of Paint, refinishing the wood stage, fixing broken stadium seats, replacing broken tables and chairs, and all other repairs needed. We would like to get started on the repairs as soon as we can.
