They are heading into their 3rd consecutive year of major medical expenses.
Elisa was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at the beginning of 2018. After a double mastectomy, staph infection, and dialysis, she has finished up 8 rounds of chemotherapy and 30 radiation treatments. Next steps are hormone therapy and final reconstruction.
Ben is on surgery number 13 from his motorcycle accident in 2017. He will be getting rods and pins removed from his left arm. They have been causing him more pain then the benefit they are giving.
This family has been through enough! Even though they are strong, keep smiling, and live by the family motto #getup it is still hard....so let's help make it just a bit easier.
