Sirens travel to Adelaide to Slam!

The Northern Beaches Roller Girls (NBRG) have been invited to compete in 2018’s The Great Southern Slam (TGSS) over the June long weekend!
We’re excited, and again, a little nervous to be competing in the largest roller derby event in the southern hemisphere ... putting nerves aside, it is an amazing opportunity for the League and our skaters.
This will be NBRG’s second hit out at TGSS, having made the trip to Adelaide in 2016. This year however will be the first time for the majority of our squad, and debut bouts for three of our skaters!

Our fundraising goal is $1,500, which is approximately 10% of the budgeted travel costs to take our team to Adelaide. This campaign will supplement what we have already raised with other fundraising community events; a roller disco, Bunnings bake sale, and we will be at Bunnings Warringah Mall on Saturday 26th May hosting a bbq – we’d love you to come by and say hi!
