We are an artistic collective of adult artists with developmental (although we prefer the term "diverse") abilites in Victoria, B.C. Canada.
We originated thanks to the Lifetime Networks "Theatre Troupe" program, and the video above was created by the troupe in 2016.
We have since expanded to a larger group of artists for 2017. We create original comedy, music, and theatre ourselves and with professional artists from across Canada.
We have been approved for partial funding from the Canada Council for the Arts "Next Chapter" program to get us started, and we have booked the 789-seat MacPherson Theatre from Feb. 7 - 10, 2018 for a run of what we are calling "The Great Big Show" (working title). We are working our butts off this year getting better at writing, composing, dancing, clowning, theatre and music between now and then.
The more money we raise, the more creators, performers, mentors, and support staff we will be able to hire for this extraordinary project!
We've raised enough to get started, please help us make our dream a reality for as many artists with diverse abilities as possible!
