Help the Betty Chinn Foundation

Betty Chinn is simply incredible. During the Cultural Revolution, she and her family were forced to flee from prosecution. Facing incredible physical and emotional challenges, Betty eventually came to the US when she was 16. She has dedicated her life to helping those in need. Homeless at points in her life, Betty realizes the lack of dignity and respect afforded to the homeless. As such, she treats each and every single person she encounters with unmatched kindness, love, and respect. She truly is doing this out of the kindness of her heart with very little funds and limited support.

This semester, Cal Rotaract is dedicating itself to assisting the Betty Kwan Chinn Homeless Foundation. More specifically, the club will be using the funds earned this semester to purchase personalized backpacks and college-readiness goods for the homeless high schoolers who utilize Betty's services.
