Help The Allen McHorney Family

**Our sweet friend Melanie McHorney, wife and best friend of Allen McHorney,  25 years, mother of Brett and Alexis, g-mother of 4 little ones passed very unexpectedly just a short while back from a massive stroke leaving the family in complete shock and horrible grief.  Their landlord then sadly evicted them from the home they were renting quite sometime sadly without adequate warning and they are now in a Motel 6.  The Coachella patrons have all the rooms in the desert so that is the only place they could find.  There are five if them in one room as well as quite a few of their beloved cats -- they lost two sadly during the having to get out very quickly process.  Their whole lives have totally been turned upside down.

**What this landlord did was awful and it was quick.  Their cats had to live for 7 days without food or water as they could not get into their place.  The Sheriff's came and that was that.  It is an awful story - they did get the cats finally and a few belongings but not all and the cats are with them now in the motel.

**They are in need of a good tenant right's attorney and they are expensive so we are looking to help them raise money for a retainer for a good attorney and also to help them find a place to live as they now have an eviction on their record.  ( $250.00 per 30 mins time is very high for them to do but they need an attorney so pay they must). They are responsible and they are in shock from the passing of Melanie and now the eviction that should have never been.  IT IS SAD AND IT IS BAD AND IT IS HEARTBREAKING.  Dealing with a landlord like that while being in shock and having nowhere to live or go is just awful and completely unexpected and they need a lot of help to try to start over best they are able.  So we discussed a Go Fund Me page to see if we can raise some money to help them.  I hope we can.
Allen and Melanie have been friends of ours some 50 years and I hope we can help to help them!!!!

Any amount helps -- I am taking this on as it is too much for them to do right now with al that is going on so -- all monies will go directly to Allen to fund an attorney as well as find adequate housing for himself and his family.  My heart is so very heavy.
Thank you everyone indeed -- it is so very appreciated it is -- let us try to help them find some peace in all of this and some comfort and not have to be on the streets -- that would be simply awful but it could go there!!!
What the landlord did was not right and uncool and they need a good attorney to help indeed and they also need to find a plce to live as well.

For me I cannot imagine how awful all of this is for them the little ones too and the animals also - it is just so sad and just a mess.  Life is precious and life is fragile -- and can change in the blink of an eye.
