Help Thaila Sue Elliott (Our Warrior) Walk Again

Thaila became unwell we thought it was a sickness bug but she continued to get worse,after going to numerous doctors and being told she will be ok it will pass she started to deteriorate more therefore she was also seen in out of hours at Prince Charles hospital Merthyr Tydfil where IT SHOULD of been picked up that she was seriously ill but she was sent home with antibiotics for a water infection(which she didn’t have)!!,that same night Thaila was rushed back to Prince Charles hospital by ambulance as she had suffered a seizure at home,in the next few hours our whole world fell apart Thaila fell unconscious and the crash team came running from everywhere,she was put on a life support machine and rushed for a MRI scan that’s when the consultant came to tell us Thaila had a massive abscess on her brain and needed brain surgery as fast as she can,she was transferred to University Hospital of Wales,thaila was rushed straight into surgery and then taken to the Intensive Care Unit but within 20 minutes of being there here brain pressure shot up at this point all of Thaila’s family were called into say their goodbye’s as they didn’t think Thaila was going to pull through,but one surgeon said he’s got one option left but didn’t know if it was going to work so we said yes try anything to save our beautiful girl,thaila was operated on for a second time but because of the pressure being so high on the brain Thaila suffered not one but two strokes aswell as having a abcess that was taking up a quarter of her brain,which have now left her with some permanent brain damage but despite the odds our beautiful warrior fought hard and pulled through,Thaila is now on her long journey to getting back to her normal,cheeky,happy self and started her physio therapy at the hospital but after spending 6 months in hospital Thaila has now been discharged and is still needing physio therapy to help her walk again but it isn’t enough so we are trying to raise enough money for her to have private physio therapy at a rehabilitation centre to get her walking,we also discovered that Thaila has also lost her hearing from the abscess so she is now also profoundly deaf and is waiting to have cochlear implant to see if it can help,Thaila is the most beautiful,remarkable strongest young girl who has never once complained and had always got a massive smile on her face despite everything she has been faced with,she deserves to be back out with her friends living a young carefree life,she has had to learn how to do everything all over again from being able to keep her eyes open in the beginning to sitting up,having to use her left arm to do daily things as her whole right side of her body is affected after the strokes and abscess,to talk again,eat food,lip read all the things we take for granted everyday,so if you could please donate anything for “our warrior” it doesn’t matter how big or small we are extremely greatful we just want our girl up and walking,thank you Xxx
