Help Taylor 'Unlock the Future'!

The School of The New York Times 'Unlock The Future' Program

My name is Taylor Walters and my goal is to pursue my future ambitions with an aim to contribute ethical and sustainable considerations to the advancement of technology and human innovation. I am always seeking exciting opportunities to expand my intellectual horizons, allowing me to see my own passions from a new perspective and providing me with the knowledge to further my interests.

Recently, I was thrilled to hear of my acceptance into an educational program taking place in New York at the end of June, which explores the current state and future of major technology trends and is offered by The School of The New York Times.

Although I was awarded a bursary of $3,000 CAD from the institute offering such a program, I still need to generate $400 CAD in order to participate.

Not only would this experience immerse me in the study of emerging technologies, including scientific, mathematical and engineering principles, business and ethical inferences, but it would also introduce to me the real-world implications of my interests as they relate to the individual and society.

Taking part in this course, I feel, would lend me the opportunity to better understand my own passions by learning how the world of emerging technologies operates, as well as leading me to discover more about myself through the process. I would be thrilled to have a chance to commerce with like-minded individuals to discuss topics from the latest scientific breakthroughs to politics; inside, as well as outside the classroom.

However, the only limitation for me to pursue this goal of attending the program would be the cost. This is why I kindly ask that if you are able to support my endeavour, I would greatly appreciate any support in the form of a donation.
