Help Taco Recover from IVDD

This morning our 3 year old fur baby Taco woke up with a funny limp, shortly after she lost all mobility of her back legs and was crying and shaking in pain.  After a visit from the vet we were told our fun loving, hyper, ball chasing puppy needs back surgery and she needs it ASAP. She was diagnosed with IVDD, her slipped disk is putting pressure on her spinal cord and causing more damage the longer it remains unfixed. We cannot afford this surgery as it costs “Thousands” of dollars and requires follow ups, percriptions and recovery therapy.  These are our options; Put Taco down, or try and raise some money to see if we can afford the surgery. An update on our girl Taco

She’s on strict crate rest and only gets out for bathroom breaks. Shes coping well with the pain with pain killers and muscle relaxers. We decided for now surgery is just probably not an option financially but we are going to help Taco get the best treatments and therapy we can afford. Today we found a nice lady to come to our house last minute to do acupuncture on Taco as we heard rumours of great success stories with dogs and acupuncture. Minutes after her acupuncture session Taco was trying to stand up on her back legs. Tomorrow she will see a chiropractor and maybe another acupuncture session. Now even though therapy costs are not nearly as expensive as surgery its still extremely costly and your prays, shares and donation are still appreciated and needed.
