Where to begin? Well let me start with Jacqueline is a friend of mine. I have known her a very long time and we have grown closer throughout the years, We have a strong past and have experienced a lot of life the same. With that being said, she has two beautiful daughters. Jacque made a decision recently to change jobs to better her families future which has caused a lapse in insurance in which she has to wait on Open Enrollment.
On Sunday, March 10th, this sweet girl was attacked by a a tamascan husky. Unfortunately, they were between insurances as mom had just started a new job at a private dental practice a week prior to the accident. There are 3 large lacerations to her face beneath her eye and one deep puncture wound at her jaw line that ripped as the dog’s canine unhooked. She was seen in ER at Baylor Irving and transported via ambulance to Children’s Hospital of Dallas where they immediately took her to a trauma room. She was sedated and had surgery to repair what they could. 20 sutures were required. She will be seeing a plastic surgeon starting Monday for further revisions as well as a counselor to help with any emotional damage that resulted from this accident. We are so so lucky this sweet girl is alive. The puncture wound to her neck was only 1” from her carotid artery.
Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated. Even if it is only $1.00, every cent helps. The medical bills from this incident will be outrageous but Jacque will do everything possible to ensure her daughter has the best care and heals well. Sophia has a very long road ahead of her. If you can't donate money, even a sweet card or loving message would mean a lot. And as always, please share this link!
