Help support Patti and David!

On June 10th, David was admitted to Bayshore Medical Hospital for severe pancreatitis as a complication of a migrated gall bladder stone. For those of us who are less than medically inclined, pancreatitis is a very painful and potentially life-threatening condition that requires timely intervention and very careful management. Since his admission, David has been under care in the intensive care unit while Patti has shouldered hour-long trips back and forth from the hospital; caring for both David and their fur family at home; and running the already understaffed family business, all while trying to find moments to digest and work through this very difficult moment. 

David is a man who has had an important impact on friends, family, and his local community through his business, local church, and a general kindheartedness that has always compelled him to help those in need, even when his own circumstances were less than favorable. We all know the phrase-- "What goes around comes around." It's time for us to step forward and make sure that the love and selflessness that has been sown by David and Patti comes right back around in a moment when they need it most.

In the coming weeks, David and Patti will affront a series of medical and rehabilitation costs in addition to normal day-to-day bills, expenses, and managing the losses of productivity from their own business. Whether it's a dollar, a month of groceries, or something more, let's come together as a community of friends, family, and loved ones in order to ease the strain of this difficult, emotional moment in David and Patti's life. Please keep David and Patti in your prayers and don't be afraid to reach out and remind them that they are not alone.
