We have all hit tough times. Maybe we experienced it physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually or the incredibly trying combination of all four. Currently, a fellow Van Hise family is in the midst of one of these big life struggles due to the unexpected death of a loved one.
As we continue to lift the voices and stories of all members of our school community, we are grateful that this family felt safe and supported enough to share their story, their voice with us.
As a Van Hise community, we would like to honor this family's story by offering our support to them. Please consider lending a hand to ease this family's load. The funds we are raising will go directly to our fellow Van Hise family for costs associated with the family's sudden misfortune, the majority of which are needed for funeral and burial expenses. Therefore, we are looking to collect funds as soon as possible. The fundraiser is being managed by the Van Hise Elementary Social Worker, Rachael Nachtwey and will be disbursed directly by GoFundMe to the family.
