Help Stitch Walk Again!

Donation protected
Recently, a Warren Animal Hospital employee, Morgan Chaves, faced an unexpected tragedy when her beloved four year old French Bulldog, Stitch, suddenly went from a healthy, happy dog to being completely paralyzed in his hind end. After initial evaluation at Warren Animal Hospital, he was quickly referred to Ocean State Veterinary Emergency Services and then to Tufts Veterinary Hospital for an emergency MRI. The MRI showed significant damage to his spine and a dislodged disk requiring immediate surgery if there was any hope for Stitch to walk again. Morgan, a college student, applied for Care Credit on site at Tufts where she was able to be approved for a high enough credit limit to pay for the low estimate down payment that was necessary to start the procedure. Thankfully, the procedure went well and it is estimated that Stitch will regain 70 to 90 percent of his mobility, however he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. He remains in the hospital for observation and treatment and has recheck appointments and therapy appointments already being scheduled. Doctors have given us frequent updates and Stitch is finally able to stand and take a few steps! This huge milestone has been reached quickly due to Morgan's fast-acting decision to put her pet's needs first but now she is facing the financial strain associated with saving her best friend. Overnight, Morgan has incurred a vet bill of over $6,000 just for the procedure alone! Please consider a small donation to help a young, deserving woman support the medical needs of her best friend! Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
