Help spread kendama love

Kendama is amazing. Way beyond a skill toy this simple ball and cup has created lasting impressions on many people lives. Kendama increases hand  and eye coordination but beyond that it can also be used as a form of meditation, helping people slow down in this busy world and find patience.  It helps a lot of people come out of dark places and has a strong impact on people suffering with depression or mental health.  I was in a very sad lonely place before I found kendama and the community surrounding it and I’ve heard many similar stories. 

My goal is to spread the love and show others this no tech form of entertainment that has a direct relationship to happiness. I want to take this money and buy as many kendamas as I can (whether that be b-grades wholesale from some of the bigger companies or a bunch of target primes) and be able to give them to anyone who shows interest. I’m going to play kendama in popular places, talk to people about it, get a lot of “first spikes” and gift people a simple toy that has lasting positive effects.  A bunch have been given away already with awesome feedback and now I’m starting to dig into my personal stash and I’m scared of running out.
