Help Sonya recover from CIRS/Mold Illness

Donation protected
The problem:

For years Sonya has suffered from a wide variety of otherwise seemingly disparate symptoms that have precluded normal daily activities of functional living. Already disabled, over and over she has been faced with either misdiagnosis or having her extant symptoms summarized as idiopathic, meaning that her physicians simply weren't successful in understanding the cause. These symptoms have included severe pain, numbness in hands and feet, severe gastro-intestinal distress (despite absolute care in not using processed, fast, or artificial foods, a good nutrient regimen, high quality supplements), nearly constant brain fog, dizziness, fatigue, inability to travel, often severe difficulty in even getting out of bed. We finally have a diagnosis: Toxic black mold illness (and CIRS). Certain individuals suffer from severe mold toxicity. This is a serious illness with a complex expensive long term treatment regimen that very few physicians in the USA have any amount of training to treat. Additionally, Sonya's residence must be vacated due to very high levels of existing mold, a problem not easily remedied. her recent lab work has confirmed high levels of mold in her bloodstream.

The solution:

The sad fact is that Sonya cannot even begin a proper healing regimen until she can find suitable housing for her and her daughter within the Northern Liberties area of Philadelphia. Sonya must remain in this area because she also has responsibility for seeing that her aging mother's needs are taken care of. Finding suitable housing which is devoid of mold allergens is both a difficult and expensive proposition for someone on social security disability as her only income source. Additionally, the treatment regimen is extremely expensive. Her life is at risk if the ongoing exposure to mold cannot be mediated. Consequently, this fund is being established with the goal of finding and maintaining new and suitable housing, and ongoing ability to purchase the medicines and nutraceuticals that can embark her on the path to recovery, which itself will take a long time. Thus we ask for your consideration and financial support of this effort. Thank you.
