Help Sofia Sanchez Beat Ovarian Cancer!!

SOFIA SANCHEZ NEEDS OUR HELP…
As you may or may not know, Sofia Sanchez -- amazing chef, small business owner and employer, artist, sometime belly-dancer and friend to many in Sayulita -- is currently battling a very aggressive form of Ovarian Cancer. Sofia struggled with two blood clots earlier this year -- not knowing that they were caused by the tumor compressing the Pelvic Veins and Arteries leading down to her legs -- and has been almost completely off her feet since early 2018, and so has not worked for many months.

She is currently in Medical Sur + Centro de Alta Especialidad Oncologica in Mexico City undergoing chemotherapy designed to shrink the tumor, so that doctors can hopefully operate and remove as much as possible. She will then need more chemo for any remaining bits, plus other therapies to build her health back up – lasting in total, an estimated 8 more months…

Like most small business owners and entrepreneurs, Sofia has no medical insurance, and her family, while at her side, is unable to support her financially.

So… Here’s where our LOVE comes in...

Doctors estimate that the cost for Sofia’s treatment to date and in the future, will be about $20,000 USD total ($25,000 CDN since I'm managing the effort), so that’s what we’re asking for.

Can you help? Any and all donations are appreciated, and will be transferred directly to Sofia as needed, and will be used ONLY for costs related to Sofia's medical treatment and recovery.
