Help Sid fight this battle

Hello all Sid, is continuing his battle  his cancer and this past week he has found out that the cancer has spread to his liver and is in need of  our help!

He has begun chemo treatment again and will continue this once a week for the next three months so he will not be able to go attend work.   With the

cost of his meds during the this time any donation is greatly appreciated. 

Some of you may know Sid Swartwood, but for those who don’t . . .  He has been a outstanding member of the Valley for 43 yrs.

Sid’s family moved to Rye in 1975 when he was in 4th grade. Sid graduated from Rye High School in 1984. Because of his love for the area and the people Sid remained in Rye and raised 3 children who also graduated from RHS.

Sid has served the community for many years working for his dad in the grocery business and then working for his brother at Valley Market.

Sid has also served on the Rye Fire Department for many years, a job he loved because he was helping others.

Sid is now working at Craver middle school and enjoys his job and everyone he associates with everyday.  He is also working at Lowes.

As you can see Sid is a very hard worker and enjoys helping people when he can, but he needs our help now.

Sid is very blessed to have a great support group from family and many friends. We’d love for you to join in and help Sid fight this battle.

Sid is a very strong person and we know he is going to kick cancers butt!
