Help Shimshon Heal

On Monday, January 16, 4 year old Shimshon S.'s school bus was involved in an accident . On the way to school it rear ended an NJ Transit bus. Shimshon was sitting directly at the point of impact. While other children on the bus suffered minor cuts and bruises, Shimshon suffered a broken femur, broken tibia, and fractured pelvis. He has undergone two surgeries - one to set the bones and the other to close the lacerations on his face - and will likely have to undergo more surgeries in the future. 

 
Shimshon will be in the hospital for at least a week, after which he will have to use a wheelchair for a couple of months, followed by crutches. His devoted parents, Mindy and Yoel S., have both taken leaves of absence from their jobs to take care of Shimshon and be with him as he heals. 

We want to make sure that the only thing they have to worry about in this trying time is taking care of little Shimshon, and their daughter and making sure he has everything he needs. Your donations will ensure that they have all of their needs taken care of so they can have the peace of mind to take care of their children and make sure that Shimshon has the best care.
