Help Sharely on her road to recovery

On August 31 2019, Sharely was in a diving accident in the Dominican Republic. She dove into water that was too shallow, and is now suffering from a spinal cord injury with loss of strength in all four limbs and a severe spinal nerve damage to cervical nerves c4-c6.
She is still in Dominican Republic in a hospital where they do not have the necessary equipment for the treatment she requires. She needs to be medivacced to NY ASAP and then taken into surgery for proper treatment. The family & friends are currently in contact with a neurosurgeon at Columbia Presbyterian hospital in hopes that they can take on the case.
All who know Sharely, know that she is truly a remarkable person. She is vibrant, kind, loving, positive and her smile and laugh are contagious. All of us who have been able to cross paths with her are extremely fortunate. She is a strong person who with prayer and a positive attitude will push through, but needs help from us to get there.
We ask for your generosity in helping us raise money to cover all of the expenses she and her family will incur in the coming months due to the accident. While we don't know the full cost yet, we want to get a start on fundraising and will update once she gets to NY and we find out the cost of proper treatment for the accident.
She has so much more life to live, and we want to help her get there despite this setback.
