Help SGT Andrew Campbell & Family

SGT Andrew Campbell is a 68T, animal care specialist, in the US Army. I was his OIC/Branch Chief at Ft Knox, KY. He was a stellar Soldier and I knew he had a bright future ahead of him in the Army. He showed great interest in his job, the Army, and was always a joy to be around. I PCS'd to Germany and saw him a few years later when he accompanied a MEDEVAC Military Working Dog from Afghanistan to the hospital I worked at in Germany. He was the Soldier I remembered but even better given that time and life experience had brought him further in life. Andrew met and married the love of his life, Becca, and they moved to Puerto Rico at the direction of the Army. Last fall Andrew was diagnosed with metastatic peritoneal carcinomatosis. Becca gave birth to their beautiful daughter, Brooklyn, in January. The family moved to D.C. so that Andrew could receive the best possible medical care at Walter Reed. The devotion that Andrew has to the US Army and his family is evident. Anyone can tell that he is madly in love with Becca and completely enamored with Brooklyn. I was recently informed that Andrew is unable to continue with chemo. His tumors have grown around his intestines and he even has an obstruction from a tumor. He cannot undergo surgery as he most likely wouldn't make it out of the OR. He has been in hospice care since November 11th. I'd like to be able to do something for this amazing family that has remained extremely positive and upbeat despite being faced with such a devastating prognosis. I wish for Andrew, Becca, and Brooklyn to be able to enjoy the time that they have left together as a family. Please do what you can to help support this wonderful family.
