Hello Friends and comrades!

I am excited to announce that I have been accepted and invited to attend BOLD/ Emergent Strategy Ideation Institute partnered facilitation course with Bestselling Author of Emergent Strategy and Pleasure Activism , Adrienne Maree Brown in New Orleans!

This facilitation course will provide me with a process that will assist my growth in my leadership roles - as an educator, organizer, and member of my community as well as a chance to expand my capacity.

In order to attend, I need Your help to raise my Tution + Travel cost of $1,100.00 by May 10th.


For those unfamiliar with who I am and the work I have done:

Since 2016 Marielle has been organizing with their political home Black Love Resist in the Rust, a People of Color social justice organization dedicated to dismantling the white supremacist hetro-patriarchal society by empowering, education and healing Black and Brown People in our community. Marielle (She/They) is a Buffalo native and mother of two who enjoys writing and performing work that is reflective of their experiences as a queer black femme. They believe one of the greatest acts of resistance is finding healing through artistic expression.
Marielle is currently  employeed as an Educator Support Specialist at King Center Charter School, co- facilitates Black Magnolias, a People of Color creative writing workshop with Richie Willis and facilitates a Reading and Discussion series on Audre Lorde’s Zami. They are also a contributing writer for FlagrantCity.com, a black femme owned blog site.
