Help Send Akira Home

Hi, my name is Akira ! I am a three year old dog currently living in Amman, Jordan. I may only be three, but these years have been filled with a lifetime of abuse and pain. This is because when I was just a little puppy I was stolen from my mother. I was then tied to a pole and forced to withstand blazing summer heat and blistering cold winters for the next three years.  Not only was I left to shield myself from the elements, but I was also forced to defend myself from any torment that came my way from whoever walked by my designated spot.  Imagine for a second what it would feel like to have a rope tied around your neck anchoring you from even lying down comfortably ; restricting you from basic necessities like walking or running. Thankfully my luck turned around when a kind samaritan saw me and rescued me. Shortly after, Alamal Foundation was contacted and took me under their wing. My rescuers were amazed that despite all of the hardship I have endured, I am a sweetheart that can't get enough attention. They vowed to give me the second chance at life that I deserve. 

It turns out that they have kept their word because I have been secured a home in Canada ! I can't believe that all the pain that encompassed my life will be a thing of the past. Soon I will get to run across vast open fields of green grass and cuddle at night in a warm bed with my new family. My rescuers  have faith that kind individuals will come together to ensure that I get to experience these dreams in reality. A whole new life awaits me !
