Superheroes are more than characters in a comic book. They represent aspirations of how we want to be- icons of willpower, justice, virtue, and hope. Ted, no stranger to comic books and the heroes that inhabit them, is also more than just a man dealing with the burden of cancer. He is our hero. An icon of positivity, willpower, and strength.
February 28th, 2018, Ted was diagnosed with Stage four Metastatic Adenocarcinoma. After a successful surgery to remove the cancer, doctors informed Ted the cancer had spread to his lungs and was at stage four (true). Ted will soon begin chemotherapy to treat the possible growth of these cancers.
As with any ongoing treatment of this level, the cost skyrockets over time. In supporting this GoFundMe, you can help us rally the team and support Ted’s journey as he combats the evil that is cancer.
