Help Us Save Our Kitten Fergus!
My Name is Erin, my Boyfriend Paul and I have two beautiful cats Reznor and Fergus . Those who know us well know these cats are our world.
Truly a part of the family.
These two wild and crazy cats complete us. ♡
Our littlest Fergus needs your help.
He was very seriously injured and he needs emergency surgery.
Fergus our kitten is just 9 months old and last night he tried to make a jump to the top of a very high 7 foot tall bookshelf , well he fell and hit the desk beside it. I ran for him but couldn't get to him fast enough to break his fall. When he couldn't get up I helped him, he cried and whined and could hardly stand.
In tears and a panic we got him in the car and rushed him to the 24 hour vet clinic. 6 hours later ...
Fergus had X-Rays, an IV Drip of Pain Meds, a checkup and blood work.
His X-Rays revealed 2 fractures, one to his Femural Head (the ball joint at the hip) and another to his Hip Bone itself. He needs emergency surgery in the next 24-48 hours or he will only get worse. There is a risk of infection and if it goes untreated he will deteriorate quickly.
He has to have both fractures repaired.
He will need surgery and 1-3 days hospital stay, IV Anesthetics, pain medication, and all of the extras that come with....
This is where we need help.
We do our best to make ends meet.
Like so many families we live paycheck to paycheck.
We love our cats with all of our hearts. We will do what ever it takes to take care of them. They are family.
Surgery is the only option for Fergus.
He's so young and we won't give up on him !
