Help save my two puppies

On September 25th my boyfriend and I added a little Bernese Mountain dog, Silas, to our family.  It didn't take long for us to discover how sick this dog really was. The next day we rushed him to the vet and ever since he has had regular visits, almost weekly, to one vet or another. He has a skin problem and we aren’t sure to this day what is causing it. He has been given medications that no puppy should be on just to help with his symptoms. On December 10th he was diagnosed with MRSA and by the next day we noticed my 9-year-old Shi Tzu, Nikki had similar symptoms. We rushed him to the vet and found that he has a swollen bladder and a swollen prostate. They gave him x-rays and tested his urine. The tests show a high number of epithelial cells, this combined with the swollen organs are indicators of possible tumors. After a discussion with the vet Nik most likely has cancer but we aren’t sure what form. He may have bladder cancer, which could be treated, and he could have a long life still. Untreated they would expect possibly 4 to 6 months. If he is diagnosed with prostate cancer then even treatment won’t help give him much time, without it he is more then likely to pass within the next 30 days. We would have to just keep him comfortable which is hard to believe since he seems happy and running around like he is okay. Silas needs a skin biopsy to find the next best treatment option. We were told he is expected to have a long road of recovery that can take months of testing and medications to get him back to where a puppy his age should be health wise. I am asking for donations to help us pay for their treatment and medications. We have sunk ourselves in debt at this point trying to keep them healthy. I can’t imagine this to be the end for my little Nikki he has been my best friend who has been there throughout high school and college. I wanted to add to our family and give him someone to play with now that I was able to. Instead we are trying to save two very sick dogs. I have been told to put Silas, the puppy, down or just leave him at a shelter, it just isn’t worth the time energy and money especially since I am trying to start my life. I will not be doing that. We made a commitment to these dogs and they are a part of our family now. We intend on giving them the care they need to the best of our ability. Please help me and my boyfriend keep our dogs healthy and comfortable, even the smallest donation will help.
