Laney Medical Bills and Memorial

Even pets can offer comfort to each other.. Laney and Al comforting each other..

November 27......Its hard to believe at times that Laney is gone, i still come home at times looking for her and catch myself getting ready to call for her.  Her children still roam the house lookingfor her and calling for her. They still lay in her favorite spots. Makes me sad to see it.

We still have a little bit left on her vet bill and cremation. With the holidays its still an added expense we need to take care of.  But slowly but surely..


June 30.....Its with a sad and heavy heard that I let everyone know Laney passed away.  Took her in for her 2nd Xrays.  Lane had a tumor in her middle ear and a bone lysis. The lump on her jaw showed bone fragments probably from her inner ear. She had no ear drum and it was full of fluid. The mass was going into her throat making it difficult to swallow so it was hard for to eat or drink.  It was aggressive and she was getting steadily worse and her good days were getting less.
I made the heart breaking decision of ending her suffering.  Shes at peace now and is with those that passed before her.
She was a sweet gentle soul that will and is greatly missed.  She was the Heart of the Family.

Any further donations that afe recieved will go towards her final vet bill and her cremation.

June 27.....wish us luck and send prayers Laneys way. She goes in today to vet. Got her in a day early.


June 25 Update.....Lane had a vet visit today.  We scheduled her xrays for Thursday.  When they look at the Xrays they are going to try and get a sample of the thing on her jaw and if theres something they see that can be removed by them then they will just go ahead and do it.  But the vet seems to think the jaw knot is whats causing her problems.  The knot has gone down thanks to the meds and seems more soft than hard now. I think its all just baffling.
But Lane is hating the visits as shes poked and prodded each time. This one seemed a little harder on her. So she has slept the afternoon away, im ok with that tho..

Update....Lane is getting stronger and gaining weight back every day.  So fingers crossed she will be ready for her new xrays. She will be getting 2 dental xrays and 4 radiographs.. Once those are taken we will learn more....please keep her in your prayers

Laney is a black torty domestic shorthair kitty. She is affectionate and loving and gives hugs. But right now Laney could use some extra love and Hugs.

Laney is having a rough go of it.  She has a knot on the side of her jaw or lower Mandible as vets call it and a mass in her sinus cavity and possible mass in her deep or middle ear and a possible bone Lysis.

She has been getting shots and other meds on a regular basis to help with swelling and the sinus.  Depro Medrol, Clindamycin and Convenia just to name a few. Shes a little fighter and deserves a chance.

She will require surgery to remove the mass which will be a huge expense. She goes in next week for head and dental Xrays.
 
She had a bad reaction to pain meds so we are letting her recover from that before we try to put her under anethesia.

Anyone who meets Lane falls in love with her sweet gentle nature. She spent the first year of her life living as a feral before i was able to catch her and bring her in. Shes never been a problem, she is the type of cat everyone wishes they had.  She deserves to have a good life and im doing my best.

Every little bit would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in helping her get better.. 

I can provide the name and number of her Vets if needed...i included a shot of the first diagnosis..
