Please meet Athena - a little Italian Greyhound born September 4, 2015. The only baby who survived in this litter.

She's always been full of joy and her and her mom soon became unseparable.

Her mom and herself live with their humans in an appartment. They always sleep together, eat together play together. They even go to the bathroom together as they can't bare to be a part from each other.

Athena now share her love with a 5 years old little girl. When she wakes up in the morning, first thing she does is to jump into her little human's bed to cuddle and get kisses. She is also curious about what is growing inside her human mom's belly. She was told it was going to be a baby brother. Boy she can't wait to meet him.

Unfortunately a terrible event happened. As she was starting her day and decided to go out to potty. She tried to fly...and fell...As she is not a flying dog she broke both her front paws.

Her mommy tried to save her with the bandages you can see in the picture as she is not rich and that mommy and daddy are waiting for baby boy to arrive before the end of the month.

Unfortunately this solution didn't work. So now she has to find the amount of $5,500.00 to be able to get Athena a surgery on March 10, 2017 in order to save her.

Athena is still a puppy full of joy even if she can't walk anymore. She deserves the surgery and to get a second chance in life. She brings so much joy to all our family. She is supposed to become baby boy's bestfriend and to live happily ever after with her family and mother.
