Help save 13 Nepali dogs from death

The story:
In Sindhupalchowk, in a village close to the Chinese border, sixteen dogs were abandoned after the major earthquake in 2015. They were all on their own.
A generous vet spayed and neutered them, but then we discovered that the villagers had since chained them up without food or water and were planning to kill them “with knives and stones”. The dogs had killed a goat and the villagers were afraid for their children.
We had 2 days to save them.
In a spectacular action, rescuer Ritu Thapa drove EIGHT HOURS over bumpy roads to catch these dogs and bring them back to Kathmandu. They have had temporary, and very cold and exposed, shelter in an open area called Hattigauda.
NOW, THE SHELTER WANTS TO EITHER THROW THEM OUT ON TO THE STREETS OF THE CITY OR SEND THEM BACK TO THE VILLAGE TO BE SLAUGHTERED.
WE MUST GET THEM TO CANADA ASAP!!!

I manage this group together with my Nepali friends Ritu Thapa and Julia Krepska from International Dog Adoption Nepal in Kathmandu. At first, we thought we could save these poor dogs in their own country, but getting a dog adopted in Nepal is impossible. Nepalis don`t adopt street dogs, only purebred dogs. For this reason, we are now focussing on international adoptions. We started this group on Facebook ten months ago and already have over 2000 members. (In these ten months, we flew, or have made arrangements to fly, about 30 dogs to the USA, Canada, Germany and Austria.)
