Help Saranya fight the cancer

Donation protected
UPDATE - 9 January, 2018 I am a family friend of Saranya's and she asked that I share this update. Saranya, Prashannabalaji  and their son, Karthiks would like to thank everyone for their prayers, donations and kind sentiments.  Saranya and her family, arrived in Thailand four weeks ago  and started a portion of her medical treatment i.e. IPT (Low Dose IV Chemotherapy).  Unfortunately, they haven't been able to achieve the $90k goal to commence immunotherapy and if they are unable to reach the required funding, they will need to travel back to Sydney in 2 weeks. To add to their circumstances, Saranya has begun to face a couple of medical set backs. As a final request, if you are reading this, could I please ask that you flood social media with their go-fund me page, please share on your facebook, twitter or whatsapp social network and ask others to do the same. They have two weeks to raise the much need funds to enable Saranya undertake the medical treatment in entirety. In addition, though the family are intensely private, they require gentle emotional and mental support, if you are a resident or visitor in Thailand, could you please reach out to them and give them some kindness and love. As a mother and wife, Saranya is concerned about the emotional and mental well-being of her husband and son. Thank you again. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In early 2018, our plans were thrown to the way side, at the age of 30, Saranya was diagnosed with Stage 3C clear cell carcinoma of the ovary arising in endometriosis (Stage 3C means cancer is in one or both ovaries and has spread beyond the pelvis to the lining of the abdomen (peritoneum) or to nearby lymph nodes.) On 5 March 2018, Saranya battled on and underwent a modified hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, resection of the bladder and small bowel with a loop ileostomy. Post-surgery, my lovely, Saranya, gladly endured 14 weeks of chemo, to be with Karthiks and I. Post chemo, Saranya’s tumour markers were low and CT scans showed no indication of tumours, however, within 3 months, the aggressive cancer returned and showed resistance to chemo. With the cancer being resistant to chemo, the only other option, Saranya has left is to undergo immunotherapy. Unfortunately, immunotherapy is not available in Australia and we will need to travel overseas, to Verita Life, Thailand for the treatment. To fund Saranya’s cancer treatment and care, I have availed our life savings, In addition, I have taken a personal loan. My only other option is to request our friends, family and Indian & Australian communities to kindly assist us, as much, as you can bear. If you cannot provide us with monetary assistance, could we please ask, that you pray for us, send us your healing energy, share our story/page and support us by any means, you can. My hope is that the immunotherapy allows Saranya to recover from cancer and spend time making memories with our two-year-old son, Karthiks. Each day, I see Saranya’s smiling face is a blessing for us but I am acutely aware of the devasting physical, mental and emotional pain, she is enduring to be here, please help me, keep my family together.
