Help Sarah Show Get Back Up!

Family and friends of Sarah Show, everyone.  Sarah has been in a very serious accident! While horseback riding with a good friend her horse became spooked and began bucking. In the moments following she was thrown from the horse and her head struck a cattle chute.

The impact was significant and her scull was fractured. She was unconscious for almost five minutes! She was taken by ambulance to the Redmond Hospital. It was discovered there that her brain was bleeding in a number of places. Being in a truly life threatening situation she was life flighted to the St. Charles Hospital in Bend to been treated by a facility that was better equipped to deal with her dire situation. She now is in the ICU (intensive care unit) and the extent of her injuries are largely unknown. Her tenacity carried her through some very touch and go moments as she fought for her life.

She has shown incredible resilience and her progress is encouraging. She has woken up and is able to follow the doctors commands; she also has recognized the various flock of family and friends that have descended on the hospital. Things are looking good, with that though, she has a long road of recovery in front of her.  She and her family will not only have to go through the painful process of physiological healing. On top of that, there are going to be bills that begin to stream in that will be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Beyond both of these, and by far the most critical, is a very real possibility of long term disability  due to having suffered a severe traumatic brain injury.

Please, lets show her how much she means to us by rallying support and bless her with financial assistance.  Let us collectively remove the enormous pressure a financial burden brings while she gets back up. Lets show her we care! Even a penny counts!
