Please help Sarah to get to New York.
The American Ballet Theatre is a prestigious ballet company based in New York. I have been selected from over 3000 auditionees to attend the American Ballet Theatre intensive summer school. This means I will get to spend 3 weeks training with ABT faculty in the New York studios to further and expand my knowledge. This is a great honor & privilege for a ballet dancer from Ballarat a dream come true, an amazing experience.
While at the summer intensive I will be attending daily technique classes and learning ABT repertory as well as pointe work, partnering and modern dance. It is a chance to work in a challenging and professional environment in another country with world class teachers.
With all amazing experiences like these it unfortunately comes at a great cost. On top of tuition for the summer intensive there are also costs of accommodation, flights, food, travel and general day to day expenses.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and I'd be ever so grateful for any contribution to help me achieve this amazing opportunity that has been offered. With the help of family and friends I hope I can make this incredible journey, to grow as a person and a dancer by being exposed to another amazing country and their dancers.
