Help Sandy Battle Cancer

This is my mom, Sandra McCauley. She and my dad are an example of love to the world, married 53 years with six children, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Over the past 25 years they have touched the lives of thousands of yoga students with their selfless and radiant instruction, and through the creation of a beautiful and safe environment in which students can grow into the highest version of their potential.




Ten years ago my Sandy was diagnosed with breast cancer, had surgery and treatment which was initially successful.  Then last year she found out that the cancer was back. 

Sandy is currently battling metastatic breast cancer which has spread to her bones, lungs and liver. Currently, fluid has accumulated in various places around her lungs and other organs, causing intense pain and pressure that require constant pain management and various other medications to keep her body functioning.



Even in the face of these painful and difficult symptoms, she has an upbeat and positive focus, a laser like vision of her body in perfect health.

She has begun a new chemo treatment after the previous treatments lost their effectiveness. We have high hopes that this will work to reverse some of the recent advancements in her symptoms. However, this will take a couple of months, during which time she will require 24 hour care. We hope to manage that care at home, sharing the joyous burden among the large and loving family that she has worked so hard over the years to build.



We are launching this page to help support Sandy and Bill's basic financial needs during this time. Any amount of support you can give will be appreciated. We also welcome all positive thoughts and prayers.

Sandy’s goal is to beat this cancer back into remission and continue to enjoy all the vibrancy that life has to offer.  We want her radiant energy to continue to shine in the world and we know she can pull through this treatment and continue to live a vibrant and full life.
