Help Ryan offset medical costs

This is my cousin Ryan and his wife, Kate.  He is 34 years old and they have been blissfully married for 6 years.  Both are teachers, and like all young couples, they struggle to pay their living expenses as well as their school loans.  They work several jobs each and were just on the verge of feeling comfortable with starting a family.
Unfortunately, Ryan was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of lymphoma, known as Burkitt lymphoma about 3 months ago. Their world started to collapse around them.
He is currently a patient at Robert Wood Johnson. He has spent about 8 of the last 12 weeks there. Kate has been sleeping in his room but it has become impractical and a little bit hazardous for her to continue to do so. It is also not feasible for her to drive 3 hours daily to spend time with him. She found a close, safe and reasonably priced hotel nearby.
The loss of salaries ( teachers don’t get disability insurance), the costs of transportation and lodging added to their normal expenses are going to break them if they don’t get some help.
To compensate for their loss of salaries, they will need approximately $50,000. If we can even raise a fraction of that, it will take so much of the pressure from them and enable them to fully concentrate on Ryan’s recovery. They will be so appreciative of anything you can do to help.
