Help Roxy Walk Again
Donation protected
Our cat, Roxy, was exploring outside like she does most days and we think her leg got caught in a fence. It broke, and she came limping home. We immediately took her to the vet upon seeing large cuts on one leg, and the vet informed us that Roxy would need surgery and probably a pin put in her leg. At the surgery consult we were given estimated costs of $3000!! We already paid $500 to our regular vet for the initial check up and X-rays and that is very hard for my family. My mom and dad both work, and my siblings and I are not old enough to get jobs to help fund the surgery. Roxy means so much to my family and our other cat, her brother, Tuck. We would be heartbroken if this injury led to our family losing Roxy. My sisters and I overheard my mom and dad discussing all the possible courses of action and we all started crying. If we cannot get the funds for this surgery, there is a chance that we will have to put her down. Roxy isn't just an outdoor cat; she sleeps with me and my three sisters, she cuddles with her brother, she brings us rats, and is known as our little pixie-face. Attached are some pictures of her and her brother Tucky, the x-rays the vet has given to us, and the financial estimates for the surgery and other medical needs.
Anything you can do to keep Roxy part of this family is much appreciated.
