Help Rosie Help Ella fight Leukemia

This is sweet Ella. She’s five years old and has a twin brother. She was diagnosed in January of 2017 with Type B Leukemia. She then suffered from fungal menangitis in March 2017. In September 2017 she had a bone marrow transplant.

But in November 2017 (to present) she began suffering from GVHD - Graft Versus Host Disease. Which means she’s fighting the very transplant that she needs to keep her alive. And she’s fighting hard! Her mom, Rosie, who’s on her own, can’t work. She needs to be present for her kids and available for endless doctors visits and medical procedures. They lost their house and moved in with relatives but spend most of their time in the hospital. Ella’s medical bills are covered but the family needs money for things like car insurance, cell phones, and healthy food to cook while they’re in the hospital housing. I’ve never seen braver faces than in Ella and her brother and her mom. The lovely posts of art and the sweetness of Ella’s smiles are truly inspiring. Even the smallest donation will help cover those daily things we all take for granted.
