Help Robin with CKD Treatment

Robin joined our family January 2001. She's been a major part of our family for the last sixteen years through ups and downs and even through illnesses. She would sit next to me while I was recovering from my surgeries after I had cancer. She would watch movies and TV with me, eat yogurt with me and more. our family life has been enriched by Robin and now our baby is sick!

Last week, she started to become listless and she began to drool a foul smelling thick paste and stopped eating much. She rapidly declined and we took her to the vet on September 30, 2017 where she was diagnosed with Advanced Chronic Kidney Disease. We were told at the time that there were many options for treatment and the first the vet wanted to try was prescription food. She ate the first day but the second day until now, she would eat a few bites here and there and she got so weak she couldn't walk. We took her back to the vet this afternoon, where she was put on IV solution and they want to keep her until Monday, maybe longer. This will cost around $350 to $500 just for the IV treatment. This doesn't count any other medicines and supplements that he will want to put her on. Our vet said there are many options for treatment but the first step is to get fluids into her as much as possible. Since this is a sudden expense, our funds are short and we're asking help as soon as possible to save our baby...
